Fred M. Weston Jr

Fred M. Weston, 87, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, March 22, 2015, following a very brief illness. He was born in Sneedville, TN and had lived in Kingsport for over 70 years. Fred retired from the Mead Corporation with 46 years of service having worked in the Maintenance Department. Fred was a member of Bible Way Baptist Church where he served as Choir Director. He loved serving the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred M. Weston, Sr., mother, Martha Weston; step-mother, Mae Weston; sister, Loraine Lawson; brothers, Ray Weston, James Weston; and three infants, Pauline, Leonard and Lois.

Fred is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lelia Henley Weston; daughter, Faye Roberts of Kingsport; sons, Randall Weston and wife, Pier Clark of Church Hill, and Tim Weston and wife, Debbi of Kingsport; six grandchildren, Scott Javens, Amanda Lyttle, Ronnie Roberts, Chris Weston, Troy Weston and Ashley Weston; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jackie Castle of Sneedville, and Emma Anderson of Morristown; three brothers, Paul Weston of Sneedville, Lance Weston and wife, Ann of Sneedville, and Louie Weston and wife Charlsie of Morristown; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8:00 pm at Bible Way Church. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Kenny Hammond and Rev. Rick Vannoy officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Chris Weston, Troy Weston, Scott Javens, Sean Javens, Stephen Lyttle, and Mike Lineback.
