Freida T. Clanin
Freida Clanin of Kingsport passed way Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Washington County, VA and resided in Kingsport most of her life. Freida was a member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church and attended the Wesley Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Keith Clanin of Kingsport; daughter, Alisa Clanin of Austin, TX; granddaughter, Honora; two sisters, Jenny Booher and Melynda Taylor, and two brothers, Gary Taylor and James Taylor, all of Bristol.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 pm at First Broad Street United Methodist Church with The Rev. Jack P. Weikel officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
