Gale Kenneth Webb Sr., 74, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 8, 2008 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mr. Webb proudly served in the United States Army for 21 years where he served in Vietnam and Korea. He loved his family and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nat and Mary Webb; brothers, Echol, Curt, Don; and sisters, Clara Belle Williams and Ruth Lyons.
Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Brooks and husband, Sammy of Kingsport; his son, Gale Kenneth "Kenny" Webb, Jr. and wife, Rebecca of Kingsport; the mother of his children, Juanita Jones of Church Hill; five grandchildren, Krista Brown, Austin Brooks, Brandon Webb, Carley Webb, Lacy Bernard, and Amanda Webb; sister, Jeanette Younce; brother, Glen Webb; very special sister-in-law, Kay Webb; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends any time at the home of Pam Brooks, 206 Rock City Road, Kingsport, TN 37664.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Mountain Home National Cemetery with the VA Chaplain officiating.
