Gary Wayne Addison

Gary Wayne "Bucky" Addison 45, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2010. He was born October 6, 1964 in Kingsport. He is survived by his partner and friend, Mark Nave; mother, Jewel Nunley Addison; two sisters, Betty J. Carter and her husband, Gary and Linda F. Addison; three brothers, James O., Harold D. and Kenneth M. Addison and his wife, Patricia; and his beloved dog, Ginger. He was preceded in death by his father, James O. Addison. Gary served as a funeral director in Johnson City, and was the co-owner of 5th Avenue Cleaners in Richmond. He was a member of the Pride A.P.A. Pool League and the Sunday Night Rainbow Bowling League. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Bliley's Funeral Home, Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, VA, where the funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Visitation will be from 12 - 2 pm Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at the Zion Cemetery in Baileyton.
