Gary E. Wade

Gary E. Wade, 68, Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 2, 2018. He was a U.S. Veteran having served in the Vietnam War, and retired from the City of Kingsport after 32 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 ½ years, Janis Wade; parents, Melvin and Minnie Wade; infant granddaughter, Logan Wade; brothers, Howard and Ray Wade; and sister, Barbara Thomas.

Gary is survived by his daughters, Mitzy Wade, and Teresa Moore and husband, David; son, Gary Lynn Wade; grandsons, Robert Moore and Gary A. Wade; 3 sisters, Debbie Price and husband, Lonnie, Sue Jones and husband, Allen, and Linda Frazier and husband, Allen; nephew, Matthew Price; nieces, Dawn Price and Kyndra Cox; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
