Gary W. McCrary

Gary W. McCrary, 68, Fall Branch, died and went to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 3, 2014. Gary was the past owner of The Tackle Box Sporting Goods Store in Olathe Kansas. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam conflict and was an active member of the V.F.W. Colonial Heights. Gary was a National Champion Fisherman, liked to travel and was a friend to everyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wheeler and Vileta McCrary.

Gary is survived by his brother, O.C. McCrary and wife, Rita of Fall Branch; sister, Cathy Gilley and husband, David of Fall Branch; three nephews, Michael McCrary, Aaron Gilley and Adam Gilley; and his dogs, Trixie and Hope.

A special thanks to the staff of the V.A. Hospital, Laughlin Hospital, Durhan-Hensley Nursing Home and Caris Hospice for their care during his illness.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 3:30 pm at First Baptist Church of Fall Branch Cemetery with Chaplain Gerald Caldwell officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Posts 3/265. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Fall Branch Volunteer Fire Department, 106 Ruritan Rd., Fall Branch, TN 37656.
