Gary Trusty

Gary E. Trusty, 75, of Kingsport went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday October 25, 2016.

Born in Garrett, Kentucky on April 14, 1941, a son of the late Richard Milton and Rissie Deskins Trusty, he moved to Kingsport in the early 1980's.

Gary served with the U.S. Army and lived in Chicago, Illinois and Dayton, Ohio for a number of years while working in the automobile industry.

Mr. Trusty was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his church family and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2016, at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Rev. Kay Florence officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by The American Legion, Hammond Post #3 and Gate City Post #265.
