Georgia Little Oaks

Georgia Little Oaks has gone on to be with the Lord on Jan 7, 2016 in Lynchburg, VA. Georgia was born April 5, 1929, in Kingsport, Tennessee where she lived most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her father George Robert; mother Eva Little; brothers R. F., and Edwin (Happy) Little; sisters, Dorothy Hartsock, Juanita Fitzgerald, Kathleen Bailey, France Little, Della Burleson and Unav Brandon, Eulola (Bo) Fields; son-in-law, Ronald E. Buchanan; and granddaughter, Sondra Jones.

Georgia is survived by two daughters, Janet Buchanan of Lynchburg, VA, and Eva Kallenbach and husband, Craig; five grandchildren, Doedy, Molly, Sherry, Janet and Ronnie; 11 great-grand-children; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Bonnie Boone of Kings Mountain, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with Pastor Johnny Gibson officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Emory Church Cemetery.
