Gerald William "Bill" Pafford of Kingsport passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2008, in Knoxville, TN.
Born December 31, 1941, in Ontario, Canada, Bill proudly served the Bloomingdale Volunteer Fire Department for several years as a volunteer firefighter and EMT.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Pafford as well as his daughters, Leanna, Melissa, and Christa and their families; and his mother, Marian Pafford.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 208 Sunset Drive, Suite 113, Johnson City, TN 37604 or the American Stroke Foundation, 5960 Dearborn, Mission, KS 66202.
