Gerold Joe Luster, age 71, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend was called home on Tuesday, September 14, 2010.
Joe was an employee of Holliston Mills for 37 years, and enjoyed going to work every day with his "rowdy friends". He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
He is survived by Jane Luster, his wife of 50 years; his daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and Mark Setzer, of NC, and Cheri and Greg Powers, of Knoxville; grandchildren, Alex, Abby, Dylan, and Tyler; three brothers, Kenny, Gary and Tommy; three sisters, Marjorie, Nancy and Cindy and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a gathering of friends and family in his honor at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
