Gladys Hyder

In Loving Memory of Gladys Hyder (October 10th, 1934 - July 6th, 2023). Gladys, co-founder of Hyder's Tailor Shop, brought joy to the lives of many through her love for bingo. She will be deeply missed by her children: Camelia Durham and her husband Jerry Durham, and Mike Hyder. Gladys's legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Candice White, Marcus Durham and his wife Megan Durham, Sierra Durham, and Taylor Jonas. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren: Devan, Dylan, Isaiah, Karamady, and Paisley. Gladys shared a special bond with her brother Bob Huff and his wife Carol, as well as her sister Nell Weaver, whom she was very close to. She will also be remembered fondly by her cousin Shirley Huff, who held a special place in her heart. May the family find strength in their shared memories and the support of one another during this difficult time. Resting in the arms of Jesus.

At Mrs. Hyder’s request, a private burial was held on Friday, July 7, 2023.  Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park served the family of Gladys Hyder.
