Gladys Blance Ison
Gladys Blanche Ison, 81, of Kingsport, died early Thursday morning, February 9th, following an extended illness. Gladys was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and lived in Yuma Community, VA for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Santos Hickman and Frank Hickman, Sr., daughter, Mary Nancy Ison; sisters, Margaret Davidson, Katherine Ison and Lillian Stout.
Gladys is survived by her brother, Frank Hickman Jr., of Bristol, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Raymond Conkin officiating.
