Gladys Hayes McCrary

Gladys Hayes McCrary, 96, Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Life Care Center of Gray. She was a life-long resident of Fall Branch and was a member of Fall Branch United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Friel McCrary; son, Dennis McCrary; and brother, Dennis Hayes.

Gladys is survived by one granddaughter, Rhonda Moore and husband, Chip; one grandson, Jon McCrary; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Rodamer and wife, Lauren, and Summer McCrary; one daughter-in-law, Ella Strickland; one brother, Ray Hayes and wife, Dorothy; and three nephews and one niece.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 to 2 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. The service will follow at 2 pm with Rev. Victor Wallace officiating.

Following the service, the burial will be at Fall Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Life Care Center of Gray for the loving care Gladys received.
