Glenda Freeman

Glenda Freeman, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 26, 2015 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Chaffee, Missouri, she had resided in Kingsport for the past 39 years. She had been a volunteer at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center for 37 years. Glenda was a member of the First Baptist Church, Kingsport.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jim Freeman; one son, Cort Freeman and wife, Cherry; two granddaughters, Cortney Ward and husband, Cody, and Chynna Freeman; one brother, Jim DeMann; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. with Dr. Marvin Cameron officiating.
