Glendola Ferguson Charlton, 82, passed away Monday, November 19, 2007, at her daughter?s home in Greeneville, Tennessee.
She owned and operated Busy Bee Craft and Gift Shop in Fall Branch for 25 years before retiring.
Glendola was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Charlton; her parents, James and Nellie Moody Ferguson; her sister, Ruby Carberry; brothers, Clifford, James, Junior, Leonard, and Jack Ferguson.
Surviving are her daughter, Judy Bobby Blazer, Greeneville, TN; son, Jerry Iva Charlton, Fall Branch; grandsons, Tim and Chris Blazer, Greeneville; granddaughter, Angie J. D. Humphries, Fall Branch; great-grandsons, Daniel Blazer, Johnson City, TN, Brandon Blazer, Greeneville; great-granddaughter, Sndney Humphries, Fall Branch; sisters, Margie Odell Robinson and Leota Robert Laws, all of Kingsport, Sue Wayne Snider, Denton, NC; brothers, Gene Margaret Ferguson, Surgoinsville, Earl Ferguson, Kingsport, Roy Ferguson, Fall Branch, Wayne Linda Ferguson, Reidsville, NC; special friends, Josie and Doyle Dyke and Sandy Spejcher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Victor Wallace and Rev. Westley A. Duncan officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Fall Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randy Ferguson, Eddie Ferguson, Jimmy Carberry, Fred Carberry, J. D. Humphries, and Tim Blazer.
