Goldie M. Barron, 82, of the Harmony Community entered into her heavenly home Monday, June 22, 2009 at Wexford House following a lengthy illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Washington County, TN and retired from Colonial Heights Pharmacy and Gift Shop.
Mrs. Barron was a member of Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading and her companion "Baby" her dog.
Her husband, Kenneth Barron; son, Sam Barron; grandson, Johnny Barron; parents, Lena and Charles McCrary; sister, Gladys Riggs; and brother, Nilan McCrary preceded her in death.
Surviving are three grandsons, Doug Barron and wife Susan, Fall Branch, TN; Jeff Barron and wife Kim, Rowlett, TX; and Chris Barron, Jonesborough, TN; granddaughter-in-law, Janie Barron, Chuckey, TN; four great grandchildren, Katie Barron, Kingsport, TN; Jessica Barron, Chuckey, TN; Sammy Barron, Rowlett, TX; and Lexie Barron, Rowlett, TX; daughter-in-law, Linda Barron, Chuckey, TN; several sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes.
Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Fall Branch Chapel with Rev. Victor Wallace officiating.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
