Hansel Light
Hansel Light, 74, of the Beech Creek Community, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. Hansel enjoyed the outdoors, the mountains, and bluegrass music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wash and Berlie Light; four brothers, Okley, Ira, Howard, and Gene Light; and one sister-in-law, Betsy Light.
Hansel is survived by one sister, Opal Morelock; two brothers, Bob Light and Jack Light and wife, Judy; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Brother Shelton Meade and Brother Danny Dolen officiating.
The graveside service will be conducted on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Morrison Cemetery in the Beech Creek Community.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
