Harlow Eugene Leonard

Harlow E. Leonard, 58, of Kingsport, died on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. He was a wonderful husband, father and brother, befriending everyone that met him. He would do anything for anyone.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Leonard; his father, Gerald Leonard; two sisters, Monica Couch and Sarah Leonard.

Harlow is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Susan Leonard; daughter Heather Leonard and special friend Erik Bennett; two sons: Matthew Leonard and wife Anita, and Joshua Leonard and special friend Sophia Sanders; sister Sharon Edwards and husband Gerald; very special brother-in-law Sam Carroll; six nephews, one niece and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, William "Bubba" Goff, Steven Thomas and a host of others.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Services will be conducted on Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Porter officiating. Graveside services will follow at East Lawn Memorial Garden.

Pallbearers will be sons: Matthew and Joshua Leonard, Steven Thomas, Bryan Carroll, Brandon Carroll, Erik Bennett, and Harold and Michael Gilbert.
