Harold Erwin

Harold "Toney" Erwin, 58, of Kingsport passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

Toney was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and Northeast State. Toney was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in South Korea.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Erwin; parents, Herald & Marcia Erwin; and father-in-law, Dallas Greer.

Toney is survived by his daughter, Melanie Jones & husband, Todd, Kingsport; sons, Greyson Erwin, Kingsport, Josh Erwin & wife, Megan, Abingdon, VA, Joe Erwin & fiancée, Sarah Faust, Kingsport; fiancée, Libby Jones, Kingsport; grandchildren, Ryan Erwin, Whitley Jones, Skyler Erwin and Jackson Jones; sister, Melanie McAmis & husband, Roger, Jonesborough; brother, Mark Erwin & wife, Karen, Kingsport; mother-in-law, Dexal Greer, Kingsport; sisters-in-law, Colleen & Sharon; several nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 on Sunday, April 15 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Hurd, Jr. Mowell, Brian Estep & Johnny Johnson.
