Harold Clay ?Buzz? Hall, 71, of Blountville, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

He was born in Slate, West Virginia, to Grace Sams Hall and the late, Clem Hall and had resided in Blountville for the last 13 years. He retired from DuPont Chemical after 33 years of service and later worked at Hertz Rental as a car driver, something he greatly enjoyed. Mr. Hall was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the VFW and Shriners.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Shirley Thompson Hall, Blountville; three daughters, Carey Montgomery, Clearwater, Florida, Sheri McDougle and Tara Marshall, both of Parkersburg, West Virginia; four stepsons, Michael Thompson, Gray, TN, Steve Thompson, Kingsport, Scott Thompson, Jonesborough, TN, and Wayne Thompson, Blountville; two stepdaughters, Lori Goodman, Gray, TN and Karen Dale, Kingsport; a granddaughter, Julie McDougle; a grandson, Eric McDougle; nine step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; four sisters, Jean Dent, Evans, Georgia, Wanda Holbert, Shirley Dunbar, and Barbara Hochar, all of Parkersburg, West Virginia.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth W. Kyker and Pastor Scott Thompson officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be David Bridges, Ben Thompson, Jake Thompson, Greg Thompson, Bobby Marshall, and Jim Dale.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 950 W. Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
