Harold E. Olterman

Harold E. ?Belo? Olterman, Kingsport, died at his home late Memorial Day, May 28, 2007.

Born in Glade Spring, Virginia, he was a graduate of Lynn View High School. He served with the
U. S. Air Force and Army National Guard for 28 years and retired as a Master Sergeant on May 31, 1994.

Belo was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Greely and Rauzzie Cooper Olterman; two sisters, Estalene Olterman, Mrs. Joe Hilda Olterman Kabool; five brothers, Arthur Olterman, Paul Olterman, Howard Olterman, James ?Shine? Olterman, Robert ?Bobby? Olterman; and a daughter, Marissa Darnell.

Surviving are two daughters, Kim Olterman and Sabrina Christian, both of Kingsport; one son, Justin Olterman, Kingsport; one grandson, Braxton Olterman; two granddaughters, Ashley D. Taylor and Brandy D. Copas; two sisters, Helen O. Long and husband, Louis, Kingsport, Ann O. McGhee and husband, Gerald, Louisville, Mississippi; two sisters-in-law, Marie ?Dolly? Olterman and Francis D. Olterman, both of Kingsport; one brother-in-law, Joe Kabool, Kingsport; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Home National Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post No. 3/265.
