Harold Clinton "Clint" Pearson passed away Monday afternoon, August 23, 2010, at the James A. Quillen V.A. Medical Center at Mountain Home, after an extended illness.
Clint was a life-long resident of Fall Branch, and the son of the late Clarence and Edna Pearson. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, owned and operated a service station for many years, and was a retired brick mason. He was a member of Oak Glen Baptist Church and enjoyed gospel music.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Hunt Pearson.
Survivors include his son, Charles "Chuck" Pearson and wife, Kathy; grandsons, Trey and C. J., both of Kingsport, and Jacob Louvin, of Fall Branch; great-grandson, Jordan Pearson; sister, Shirley Harless, of Fall Branch; brothers, Leroy Pearson and wife, Shirley, Snowflake, VA, and Bill Pierson and wife, Drinda, Fall Branch; special friends Gary and Tina Williams, of Kingsport, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch Chapel. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Vic Wallace officiating.
Graveside services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 at Mountain Home National Cemetery, with military rites conducted by American Legion Posts #3/265. Honorary pallbearers will be Kermit Crawford, Gary Crawford, Gary Williams, Leroy Pearson, and Bill Pierson.
