Hazel Marie Hale

Hazel Marie Hale, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2019. Born in Chauncey, OH on November 21, 1921, Hazel moved to Kingsport at an early age, where she resided the rest of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Kingsport. Hazel was in retail sales and interior design. She loved gardening and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hale; son, Chris Hale; grandson, Andy Hale; parents, Emmett and Edith Sweeney; and brother, Bob Sweeney and wife Marie
She is survived by her sons, Jerry Hale and wife Jackie, and Mike Hale and wife Kay; daughter-in-law, Sharlene Hale; grandchildren, Lynn Krutak and husband Jon, Sam, Matt and wife Stacy; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb and fiancé Avery Davis, Addison, Ayden, Graciele; sister, Edna Hatcher; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Danny Silvey officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
