Heather Christine Fansler

Heather Christine King Fansler, 29, of Kingsport, passed away July 3, 2009, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Heather graduated from Sullivan South High School in 1997. She received her BS in Early Childhood Education from ETSU in 2002 with a minor in Special Education. She was a volunteer and co-leader with Girl Scout Troop 169. Heather was talented in piano, guitar and voice. Heather was greatly loved by her family and will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Baby Fansler; maternal grandparents, Robert and Mattie Christian Davidson; and paternal grandparents, Collie R. King and Stella Southerland King.

Heather is survived by her husband, Scotty Lynn Fansler of the home; daughter, Emily Faith Fansler of the home; parents, Wayne and Barbara Davidson King of Kingsport; sister, Robin Repass and husband Bernd Neudecker of Littleton, CO; brother Bobby Repass of Kingsport; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ricky and Rita Qualls Fansler , grandparents-in-law Odas Qualls, Orville and Pauline Fansler.

The family will receive friends at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, will Rev. Orville Rogers and Rev. Todd Jennings officiating. Graveside services will follow at Ervin Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doug Edwards, David Edwards, Michael Hale, B.J. Hutson, Brandon Derting, and Dustin Nunley. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Nunley and Bobby Repass.
