Helen Pauline Cox, 83, Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord Saturday December 29, 2007 at her home.
She had resided most of her life in the Fall Branch community and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fall Branch.
Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Cox; parents, Ivor and Leona Shipley; two brothers, Harold Shipley and Cliff Shipley; and one sister, Wanda Shipley.
Surviving are her son, Bud Cox and wife, Kathy; one grandson, Jeremy Cox and wife, Melony; two great-grandsons, Austin Cox and Peyton Cox, all of Fall Branch; two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Shipley and Pat Shipley, Kansas City, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Fall Branch. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Carl Strickler and Rev. Victor Wallace officiating.
