Helen Ruth Gibson

Helen Ruth Gibson, 84, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2024, at Greystone Healthcare Center, Blountville, TN. Born in Scott County, VA on April 1, 1940, she has lived in this area most of her life and had worked at Holston Elementary and Greystone Healthcare. Helen was of the holiness faith. 

Mrs. Gibson was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Marvin Gibson; two brothers and two sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Peggy Trivett, Virginia Gardner and husband, Michael; son, Tony Gibson and wife, Mary; two grandsons; four great-grandsons; sister, Mary Katherine Hunter; one half-brother; one half-sister and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 2630 Hwy.75, Blountville, TN, in the Garden of Solomon. Bros. Randy Hensley and Terry Puckett will officiate the service.
