Helen Johnson

Helen Johnson, 94, Kingsport, was lovingly received into her Savior’s arms on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport.  Helen spent her life serving her community with a humble nature and a ferocious spirit. She never met a person she could not love or an obstacle she could not overcome with grace and humor.  Helen will be forever missed and eternally loved by all those who were blessed enough to be loved by her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Johnson, and son, Les Arnold.

Helen is survived by her loving family, Donna Arnold, Megan Spence and husband, Jay, Gray Spence and Donovan Spence.

The family will receive friends from 4-5:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home-Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm with Pastor Chris Alford officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
