Helen Louise Marion

Helen Louise Marion, 93, Blountville, died at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Sullivan County, she graduated from Blountville High School in 1939 and from ETSU in 1943. Helen was employed with Eastman Kodak prior to retirement. She was a member of the Blountville United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy L. Marion and Nancy Foust Marion.

Helen is survived by her cousins, Kenneth Marion, Becky Forbes, Ruth Brading, Betty Crary, Danny Marion, Dale A. "Tony" Marion, Clarence W. Barr, Jr., Evelyn Barr Goad, Pauline Barr Morgan, Harold W. Barr, Graham Barr, and Ruth Yoakley Combs.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12-1:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Susan Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Gunnings Cemetery.
