Helen Webb, 95, Kingsport, died at 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Brookhaven.
Born in Knoxville, she completed high school in Philadelphia, PA, and had lived in Kingsport for the last 60 years.
Helen was an active member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church. She was a member of Women of the Moose, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, and Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Webb, and a brother, James Cook.
Helen is survived by her son, Scott Webb and wife, Donna, Church Hill; daughter, Penny Webb Snapp, Guntersville, AL; three grandchildren, Amy Hurd, Kim Winston, and Laura Snapp; and five great-grandchildren, Victoria Sim, Harrison Sim, Natalie Winston, John Henry Winston, and Carson Winston.
The family offers a special thanks to the staff at Brookhaven and Dr. Paul Kramer for their special care.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at St. Matthew United Methodist Church. The service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ray Amos officiating.
The graveside service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
