Henrietta Harrison

Henrietta Harrison, 79, Gray, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at her home. She was a 1958 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School.  Henrietta was a charter member of Gray Free Will Baptist Church where she had served as treasurer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lacy and Selma Morrison; 2 brothers, Calvin Brown and Rev. Ronald Morrison; granddaughter, Avery T. Harrison; and in-laws, Emory and Thelma Harrison.

Henrietta is survived by her husband of 60 years, George “G.N.” Harrison; 2 daughters, Robin Spears and husband, Sayhab, and Penny McCann and husband, Wayne; son, Darin Harrison and wife, Jennifer; 3 grandchildren, Chris McCann and wife, Brittany, Toby Harrison and Emma Harrison; 2 great-grandchildren, Colton and Kiara McCann; sister, Carolyn Hamilton; brother, Kermit Morrison and wife, Faye; sister-in-law, Barbara Morrison; and several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Special thanks to Terena for the loving care given to Henrietta and also to Dr. Mark Williams and Dr. Jeff Farrow and the nurses and staff on the 4300 wing of Johnson City Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Gray Free Will Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Darin Harrison and Rev. Dennis H. Spears officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.  Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
