Henry C. Harkleroad

Henry C. Harkleroad, 89, Kingsport, died on Friday, April 5, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Harkleroad; 3 daughters, Ethel Monk and husband, Gerald, Jeania Ledford and husband, Timothy, and Michelle Crawford and husband, Mickey; son, Buddy Crane and wife, Angela; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; special nephew, Ronnie Greer; and several other nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Suncrest Hospice, Dr. Christopher Neglia and special caregivers, Jackie Reeves, Teresa Phelps and Martha White for the exceptional care that they gave.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Bobby Kitts officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Crane, Mickey Crawford, Sammy Crawford, Travis Cain, Donevan Douthat and Johnny Bright.
