Henry Lawrence Malone

Henry Lawrence Malone, 79, of Kingsport, died peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2015, with his family by his side.

He was born December 15, 1935. Henry served 8 years in the United States Navy and retired as a Mason at the age of 72. He served over thirty years as Deacon and Trustee of Power Point Ministries.

He was preceded in death by parents, Lola Harbor and Walter Malone, and sister, Barbara Woodard.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Wanda Malone; brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Helen Malone; children, Frankie (Susan) Malone, Ronnie Malone, Marietta (Bob) Foley, Henrietta (Dan) Martin, Diane (Ronald) Mayes, David (Linda) Malone, and Matt (Shelia) Malone; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 11th 2015 from 1-3 at Power Point Ministries, followed by a Celebration of Life Service officiated by his son, Pastor, Matt Malone, Pastor Jack Forbes and David Grubb. Graveside services to follow at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with the funeral service expense.
