Henry "Big Hank" Thouin, Jr., 65, Kingsport, passed away Saturday October 4, 2008 at Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness with leukemia.
Hank was born and raised in Westfield, Massachusetts and had resided in Kingsport since 1977.
Hank established Thouin Enterprises, a pool and spa company, in 1977, which has received numerous awards, achievements, and honors.
He was active with the Kingsport, Johnson City, and Bristol Homebuilders Associations.
Hank was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Thouin, mother of his children.
Surviving are his wife, Debbie Thouin; daughter, Korrinne Yeung and husband, Brandon; sons, Henry "Little Hank" Thouin, III, and wife, Robin, Michael Thouin and wife, Sharon; five grandchildren, Jessica Yeung, Michaela Yeung, Abigail Thouin, Thomas Thouin, and Daniel W. Martin; one sister, Louise Keeling and husband, Allen; mother-in-law, Ann Wills; brothers-in-law, Donnie Wills and wife, Rita, and Tim Wills and wife, Tracy; nieces and nephews, Kathy, Kyle, Shanna, Dustin, Brittany, Emily, and Noah; and special pets, Lucy and Rocky.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church or anytime at the home. A funeral mass will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Burton officiating.
