Hobert L. Morelock

Hobert L. Morelock, 82, of Kingsport died Saturday, November 27, 2010. He was retired from the Tennessee Dept of Conservation.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Morelock; son, Ricky Morelock; parents, Noah and Etta Rhoten Morelock; brothers and sisters, Roy Morelock, Nellie Fields, Audrey Morelock, Curtis Morelock, Demp Morelock, Geneva Neal and Clifford Morelock.

Survivors include daughter, Janet Morelock; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Butch and Kimberley Morelock; grandson, Andrew Morelock, all of Kingsport, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch with Pastor Tim Risner officiating. Graveside service will follow at Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Allan Neal, David Morelock, Charles Fields, Jeff Wallen, Allen Morelock and Mike Morelock.

The family wants to sincerely thank the nurses and staff of Church Hill Health Care and Rehabilitation Center for their care, love and concern, as well as the caring people who visited while he was there.
