Howard P. Pearson, 81, Oak Glen Community of Washington County, died Sunday morning March 2, 2008 at Wexford House after an extended illness.
The son of the late Ira and Effie Crawford Pearson, he was born and lived all his life in Washington County, TN. Mr. Pearson was Baptist.
Howard was a Veteran of the U.S. Army in WW II. He was employed in the Acid Division of TEC for 20 years, retiring in 1981 due to ill health.
Mr. Pearson was a member of the Johnson Masonic Lodge #274, the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265, and the V.F.W. Charles DeWitt Byrd Post #3382.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy P. Carpenter in 1985.
Surviving are several cousins.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Services will be at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Lester Morelock officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Glen Cemetery.
