Howard Rossie Sr
Howard Rossie, Sr., 82, Kingsport, TN, went to his heavenly home Monday, April 13, 2015.
He was an active member of Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Rossie was an avid gardener and was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.
He was preceded in death by his wife Fay Rossie.
Surviving are his daughter, Kathy Ramsey and husband Mike, Limestone, TN; son, Buddy Rossie and wife, Debra, Johnson City, TN; two granddaughters, Stephanie Wall and husband, Jason; Tamra Rossie, one great-grandson, Eli Wall, brother, Earl Rossie and wife, Pauline, Kingsport, TN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home Kingsport.
The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Todd Jennings officiating.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at East Tennessee Cemetery, Blountville, TN.
Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to gather at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Thursday.
