Ida Sloan Moss, 92, Kingsport, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Clarence H. Moss, Sr. September 28, 1995; a son, David Moss January 30, 1977; son, Robert Moss November 24, 2000; son, Clarence H. Moss, Jr. March 29, 2007; daughter-in-law, Ann Slavic Moss; and granddaughter, Cheryl Ann Moss.
Surviving are her daughter, Ann Marie Moss Bowman of Kingsport, TN; son, William Moss and wife, Patricia of Forked River, NJ; twelve grandchildren, Robert Moss, Mark Moss, Bruce Moss, and Jolene Barrett, all of New Jersey, Lori Pritchett and Jay Bowman, both of Kingsport, TN, Rae Lynn Nancy Morrison of Cocoa, FL, Shawn Moss and Scott Moss, both of New Jersey, Michael Moss of Marianna, PA, Marty Moss and Michele Ray, both of Oklahoma; seventeen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Dominic Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Burton officiating.
A special thanks to the caregivers at SunBridge Hillside especially Rosie for the special attention extended to Ida during her time in their care.
