Ina Belle Cole

Ina Belle Cole, of Blountville, Indian Springs Community, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at Holston Manor following a period of declining health. Born in Blountville, a daughter of the late Andy and Ida Childress Cole, she was a member of several pioneering families of Sullivan County. Ms. Cole retired from Eastman Kodak in 1981 following 37 years of service.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her care providers at Holston Manor.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ardene Cole, and by her sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Charlie Fields.

Ina is survived by three nieces, Charlotte Smith Wilson, Geraldine Cole and Margaret Churchwell; three great-nephews, Greg Wilson and wife, Joyce, Eric Wilson and wife, Cheri and Brent Wilson and wife, Karen; several other great-nieces and great-nephews; two great-great-nieces, Brittany and Sarah Catherine Wilson; three great-great-nephews, Kyle, Matthew and Ian Wilson; and one great-great-great nephew, Kaden Wilson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:30-6:30 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 6:30 pm with Pastor Jeff Strong officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday at Gunnings Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m.
