Ina Pauline Morelock

With regrets we announce the death of Ina Pauline S. Morelock, who entered into rest at Indian Path Medical Center on Friday, March 7, 2008 after a brief illness.

She was born in Greene County, Tennessee and spent all of her adult life in the East Tennessee area.

Mrs. Morelock was of the Freewill Baptist faith and attended several area churches during her lifetime, teaching occasionally.

She was a wonderful mother and homemaker, making many award-winning quilts and handkerchiefs; she will live on in our hearts forever.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Charley E. and Minnie L. McCamey Smith; husband, James Ray Morelock; one grandson; one great-grandson; and numerous friends.

She is survived by five children, K. Dean Morelock and wife Sharon, Peggy Morefield, Phyllis Whetsel and husband Kemp, L. Ginger Coppala and husband Paul, and Gray Morelock; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Per her wishes, a private service will be conducted for the immediate family at Oak Dale Baptist Church in Greene County, TN with Rev. J. W. Depew officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery beside her husband and father.
