Inez Addington Engleman, of Asbury Place at Baysmont, and formerly of Brightridge Drive, died on October 5, 2009.
Born in Ducktown, TN, and a graduate of ETSU, she had lived in Kingsport for 67 years, the past 9 years at Asbury Place at Baysmont.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and a longtime member of the Presbyterian Women.
Inez was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Engleman; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Addington of Ducktown, TN; two sisters, Irene Kirkpatrick Dickenson of Ducktown and Kingsport, and Dorothy Dewey of Kingsport; a brother, Grady Addington of Ducktown.
Surviving are four nieces, JoAnn Bauer, Hilton Head, SC; Caroyln Dewey, Cudjoe Key, FL; Mary Morgan, Apopka, FL; and Shirley Gagliano, Chattanooga, TN.
Visitation will be from 1 - 2 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow in the chapel, with Pastor Randy Lantz
officiating. A graveside committal service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
