Inez Mitchell
Inez Mitchell, 95, of Kingsport, went peacefully into God's arms Sunday evening, February 6, 2011, at her home. Born in Scott County, VA, she had resided in Kingsport most of her life. Inez was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jake, Ed, George, Coy, Roosevelt "Rose", and Albert Parsons; and sister, Irene Carter.
She is survived by her husband, Morton H. Mitchell, Kingsport, a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 - 6 p.m. on Wednesday and 1 - 2 p.m. on Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will be conducted at 2:00 Thursday, with Rev. J. W. Depew officiating.
Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be John Wright, Cody Wright, Dustin Wright, Evan Wright, and Trevor Greene.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605-4277.
