Inez Slagel

Inez Slagle, 67, died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at her son?s home in Kingsport following a lengthy illness.

Born in Rogersville, she had resided in Nashville for the last 27 years and retired as an Administrative officer with TVA.

Inez was a member of Hermitage Hills Baptist Church in Hermitage, TN.

Her mother, Mildred Yankee; father, Wayne Yankee; and brother, Fredrick Yankee preceded her in death.

Surviving are her sons, Greg Gibson and wife Lisa, Kingsport; Mitch Gibson and wife Ronda, Nashville; four grandchildren, Eric, Lauren, Ali, and Wesley; and sister, Jeanette Givens.

Her sons would like to extend a special thanks to all the ?wonderful? women in Nashville, who have taken such great care of their mother.

A memorial service will be conducted 3:30pm Saturday May 5, 2007 at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church, 3475 Lebanon Road, Hermitage, TN 37076, with Associate Pastor Keith Smyser officiating.
