Inez Breedlove Wright

"To know her was to love her."

Inez Breedlove Wright, 85, of 4528 Stagecoach Road, Kingsport, died at 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2010 at Holston Manor.

A native of Blackstone, VA where she grew up, Inez volunteered to help with rehabilitation of injured World War II soldiers. She met Ken Wright during this time and they were married after a brief courtship.

She came to Kingsport more than 50 years ago and was an active member and Sunday School Teacher most of this time at First Baptist Church.

Inez was a member of the Virginia Club.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Jan Wright.

Surviving are her husband, Ken Wright, Kingsport; daughter, Patsy Baugh and husband Larry, Kingsport; one granddaughter, Kelsey Bellamy, Kingsport; sister, Lucy Gamble, Sparta, TN; two brothers, Lewis Breedlove and wife Rose, Virginia Beach, VA and Shirley Breedlove of California; longtime friend and caregiver, Myrtle Tribble, Kingsport; and good friends and caregivers, Danielle Dunn, Wanda Tate, Cindy Aistrop, and Martha Castle.

The family extends a special thanks and love to the staff of the 600 Wing of Holston Manor Nursing Home; and to Dr. Ronald Hunter and his office staff.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Dr. Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
