Iva G. Charlton

Iva Gibson Charlton, 72, Fall Branch, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, June 6, 2018 following an extended illness. Iva was born in Fall Branch, where she had lived her entire life. She was a graduate of Fall Branch High School, class of '64, where she was Girls State Delegate. She was a lifelong member of Logans Chapel United Methodist Church. Iva worked at AFG and later as a Pharmacy Tech at Family Pharmacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lon and Finnie Gibson; sisters, Betty Clark, and Patricia Carter; and brother, Paul Gibson.

Iva is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerry Charlton; daughter, Mrs. Angie Humphries and husband, J.D; beloved granddaughter, Sydney Humphries; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Buck and Jane Linkous.

The family would like to express special thanks to Cornerstone Village.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Friday, June 8, 2018, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Scott Cunningham and Pastor Roy Ferguson officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Logans Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
