Iva Renfro Richmond

Iva Renfro Richmond, Kingsport, died Saturday, May 31, 2008.

Iva was born in Scott County, VA and had resided in Kingsport most of her life.

She was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church and a former member of the Home Gardner's Club and Preston Forest Garden Guild.

Her parents, James and Flora Renfro; and husband, Richard E. Richmond preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Valda R. Lady, Kingsport; one granddaughter, Emily L. Johnson and husband David, Chattanooga, TN; great-grandson, Hayden Johnson; one sister, Ina R. Daugherty, Weber City, VA; and two nephews, Wayne Daugherty and Jim Daugherty.

Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Services will be held at 3:00 Sunday at the funeral home with Dr. Greg Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Doug Wagner, Ryan Wagner, Todd Wagner, Winn Thomas, Gary Dye, and Jim Cornell.
