I.W. Moody

I.W. Moody, 79, of Kingsport, went to his heavenly home after a lengthy illness. He retired from the Kingsport Foundry. I.W. was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Graham Moody; infant daughter, Joyce Moody; parents, Gordon and Cordie Moody; brother, Bill Moody; and sister, Geneva Bays.

I.W. is survived by his sons, Danny Moody and wife, Rebecca of Kingsport and Terry Moody and wife, Amy of Richmond, VA; daughter, Lola Vaughn and husband, Wayne of Kingsport; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Willis Moody of Kingsport; sisters, Lou Ketron and Pearl Lyall, both of Kingsport; and several nieces nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12-2:00 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bill Cody officiating. Burial will follow in Herman United Methodist Church Cemetery

Pallbearers will be friends and family members.
