Jack Judd

Jack Judd, 71, O'Fallon, MO, passed away April 14, 2010, at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, with his children at his side. Jack would have been 72 years of age this year.

Jack had worked with Ralston Purina for over 15 years before retiring several years ago, and he was a member of CornerStone United Methodist Church, O'Fallon, Missouri. He was a member of the Kingsport Masonic Lodge 688 and the Kingsport York Rite Bodies. He was also a member of Instrument Society of America. Jack served 5 years with the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his father, George H. Judd and his mother, Lucille Hobbs Judd. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Helen Davis.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Barbara, O'Fallon, MO; two sons, Robert Judd and wife, Holly, Auburn, AL, Phillip Judd and wife, Holly, Little Rock, AR; and daughter, Jennifer Larsen and husband, Steve, Rochester, MN. Also surviving are 3 brothers, Ralph Judd, Erlanger, KY, George Judd, Advance, NC, and Gary Judd, Matthews, NC; one sister Carol Sams, Kingsport; and 7 grandchildren--whom he loved dearly.

Visitation will be Sunday afternoon, April 18, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. A Masonic service will be conducted by the Kingsport Masonic Lodge #688 at 4:00. Funeral services will follow with the Rev. Aaron Pierce and Rev. Donna Hester officiating.

Burial will Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Honorary Pallbearers include Tommy Cox, Roger Hairston, Phil Brothers, Kevin Turner and Jim Poe.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Missouri Baptist Hospital for their special care during this time.
