Jack Lawson
Jack Lawson, 67, of Kingsport, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born in Duffield, Virginia and had resided in Kingsport for the past several years. Jack was an acoustical mechanic in addition to working at other jobs.
He had lived in various parts of the U.S. and had a great love for Colorado. Jack enjoyed making jokes and had a great love for western movies, bluegrass and gospel music.
Jack was preceded in death by parents, James and Mary Alice Lawson and brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his brother, J.C. Lawson of Gate City.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport.
A special thank you to the caregivers for the past year and especially Mitch of Legacy Home Care and to his special friend who helped in the last months of his life.
