Jack M. Smith, 82, passed away Nov. 2nd 2011, at Indian Path Medical Center, Kingsport, TN. Jack was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He had been retired and living in the Kingsport, TN area for 17 years.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Mae F. Smith-- also residing locally in Kingsport. Jack was a warm and friendly gentleman, with smiles and witty conversation for everyone he met. He enjoyed life and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all the lives he had touched.
There will be a service in memory of his life, "A Life Well Spent" at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, TN, on Dec.10th at 2:30 pm. The family will be receiving visitors after the service at the home of Mae F. Smith.
