Jackie Lester Harrison

Jackie Lester Harrison, 66, went to be with the Lord, Sunday January 3, 2010.

He retired from Eastman Chemical and was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents James Lester and Lena Mae Harrison; brother, Larry James; one nephew and two grandsons.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Anna Sue Harrison; one son, Kenneth Harrison and wife Rachel; three daughters, Teresa Christian and husband David, Jeana Abueida and husband Raafet and Crystal Straton and husband Richard; two sisters, Betty Elliotte and Marjorie Snowden; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Wednesday January 6, 2010 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Downtown Kingsport.

Funeral Services will follow at 3pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne McCarty officiating.

Burial will follow in the Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family would like to express their thanks to Holston Valley Medical Center 5th floor ICU and 3rd floor Wilcox Hall nurses.
